These Terms and Conditions apply to all activities provided by David Saunders trading as Junior Sports Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”).


By booking a place or allowing a child to participate in any activity delivered by Junior Sports Academy, the Parent/Guardian agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.




1. Business Details


Junior Sports Academy is operated by David Saunders, trading as Junior Sports Academy, as a sole trader.

2. Scope of Activities


These Terms apply to all Junior Sports Academy activities, including but not limited to:


  • Holiday camps
  • After-school clubs
  • In-school curriculum sessions
  • Weekend sessions
  • Rugby coaching
  • Athletic development coaching
  • One-off events and workshops



3. Eligibility & Age Limits


  • Participants must meet the age requirements for each activity.
  • Junior Sports Academy does not accept participants under the age of 3.
  • Parents/Guardians confirm that the participant is physically able to take part unless otherwise stated in writing.


We reserve the right to refuse or remove participation where behaviour or safety concerns arise.




4. Bookings & Payments


  • All bookings must be made in advance.
  • Places are only confirmed once payment has been received in full.
  • Payments are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.



5. Cancellations, Refunds & Credits




Participant Cancellations


  • No refunds are provided as standard once a booking has been made.
  • Statutory consumer rights are not affected.




Junior Sports Academy Cancellations


  • If Junior Sports Academy cancels a session or activity, a credit will be issued for future use.




Weather-Related Cancellations


  • Where outdoor sessions cannot safely proceed due to weather, a replacement date will be arranged.
  • No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.




School or Venue Cancellations


  • Where a school or venue cancels an activity at short notice, no refund will be issued.



6. Health, Medical & SEN Information


  • Parents/Guardians must complete a medical declaration form prior to participation.
  • All medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or learning needs must be disclosed.
  • Junior Sports Academy welcomes participants with medical conditions, SEN, and behavioural needs.
  • 1-to-1 support may be provided only where agreed in advance.


Failure to disclose relevant information may result in removal from activities without refund.




7. Safeguarding


Junior Sports Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.


  • All coaches are appropriately qualified and DBS-checked.
  • Coach-to-participant ratios meet or exceed recommended guidelines.
  • Safeguarding procedures are embedded within all activities.


Any safeguarding concerns should be raised immediately via the contact email above.




8. Photography & Media


  • Photos and videos may be taken during activities for coaching, marketing, and promotional purposes.
  • This includes use on:

  • Social media (including Instagram)
  • Websites
  • Flyers and promotional materials
  • Photography operates on an opt-out basis.
  • Parents/Guardians must notify us in writing if they do not consent to media use.



9. Drop-Off & Collection


  • All participants must be signed in and signed out by a Parent/Guardian or authorised adult.
  • Participants are not permitted to leave activities unaccompanied.
  • Late collection will incur a £10 late charge, payable immediately or added to future bookings.



10. Behaviour & Conduct


Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructions.


Junior Sports Academy reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour:


  • Puts themselves or others at risk
  • Disrupts sessions significantly


No refund will be issued in these circumstances.




11. Liability & Insurance


  • Participation in sport carries inherent risk.
  • Junior Sports Academy accepts no liability for injury or loss unless caused by proven negligence.
  • Public Liability Insurance is held to the value of £5,000,000.



12. Changes to Activities


We reserve the right to:


  • Change session times
  • Change venues
  • Change coaches
  • Make reasonable programme adjustments where required



13. Governing Law


These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
